Volcanic Vaultby *NextGrandcross

One Zone after the other, and this one is from a game that problemly NONE of you ever played physically without using some emulator, unless you live in England or Japan which is the only places I know of that they had arcade machines of SegaSonic the Hedgehog.

Anyway the first game to feature Mighty and Ray, and BOY, at the time it was the most impressive and most insane Sonic game around. I will say this, Dr. Eggman was at his Nastiest and most crazy in this game, his private island were he imprisioned the 3 heroes was by far the most evil place in the entire Sonic-verse, it makes Eggmanland seem like a little guppy.

Anyway, this is of the first stage, the Volcanic Vault, yep, a Sonic game that doesn't start off on some grassland, jungle or urban setting, nor does it have one. Eggman Island features a volcano, a glacier, a desert, a death tower, a mountain range, a waterway, and Eggman's Tower itself as featured in the background of this image.

This looks like an absolute nightmare. I wonder what happened to Ray and Mighty. They could have been fun characters to work with. But then again, the Sonic-verse is cluttered with characters; so many in fact, that some actually overshadow Sonic in popularity. So not everyone can make the cut, I suppose.
