Sky Sanctuary Zoneby *NextGrandcross

Been waiting to do this pic.

anyway, Sky Sanctuary, an ancient Echidna city floating high above the atmosphere, untouched by man until the the whole Death Egg Fiasco. SS got a total overhaul in Generations, it's structures were a mix of Aztec, Egyptian, greek and Babylonian architecture, with somewhat of a high tec vibe going on, also it became populated with various tropical birds.

The one thing Sky Sanctuary was missing in Generations is the annoyance of the third Sonic metallic doppelganger, Mecha Sonic, and also Classic Knuckles, which is a little sad that neither of them are present. HOWEVER with all the crazy sidemissions present, best not to rule them out yet.

Also note that their are Black Egg Robo's who shoot missiles out of their heads.

I will say this got a bit messy, mainly with the clouds, bluring and the lineart, but I ain't doing any more to this.

This is problemly my last pic, cause Generations will be out next week and let's say I'll be pretty dag preoccupied playing the game if ya get my drift. the next image after this will be Seaside Hill.

EDIT: Well well, looks like folks down in Texas got the game early, and the Sonic Retro Guy's have already been busy getting stuff down.

The vision is stunning, with clear and organized art, yet a perfectly "cluttered" background. It appeals to the eye in a fantastic array of color pallettes as well as a style sure to make anyone gasp with delight.

While it is a fanart, and so cannot be completely original, the way the fanart was excecuted was flawless! It represents a truly amazing fan art. I would like to say that in terms of originality, this one truly made such an original point of view that it is eye candy.

The technique is beautiful! There aren't strangely blended colors, and it looks like it was made with a digital and traditional medium. The colors also blend harmoniously, not mashing up to create a strange scene, but as if you are standing on the spot!

The impact is truly amazing as a final result. The art is dynamic all over, amazing positions and stances. We seem to truly be with the characters. Nothing more can be said!

Overall, I would like to congratulate the artist on their fine display of a stunning, inspiring piece of art.
