Well, it's true that Sonic loves toying with his enemies and rivals, doesn't matter how powerful they are. Heck, the blue dude knows how to smile in the face of danger and use his foes abilities against him, all while clowning around like the speedy little prankster he is.
This artwork is well lined, the shading is used to the advantage and creates a life like drawing even though it is in cartoon style. The colour is done correctly and with the different shades of the colours it adds to the correctly placed shading. The motions the characters do look like poses a normal person would do because sometimes artists can't grasp realistic poses. This artist obviously spent time creating this artwork. I think the motion of sonic speeding around is done correctly but I personally don't think it needed the shapes of sonic in it yet it does create impact and helps those who may not realise the blue like smooth streaks are sonic's speedline but I highly doubt, by the way the artist used them, that people would not realise what they are. With the grab lines on Jet the Hawk adds emphasis on the action of sonic grabbing Jet's green plume. The emotions on the characters is done well and the artist chose the 'right' expressions to use on Wave, Storm, Jet and Sonic. Wave's expression of slight hurt and fear is shown well as she is bumped off her board, Storm's expression is done well expressing anger and pain as he hits his face, Jet's shows annoyance at himself and pain as Sonic probably is pulling him by his plume, Sonic's shows his cheekiness and his general toying face as he uses when ever he teases his enemies. This artist has done well in creating a good piece of work with excellent technique and vision on the topic of soinc toying with his enemies.
