A character who appeared exclusively in Sonic's first RPG, Sonic Chronicles: the Dark Brotherhood. She is of the Nocturnus Echidna clan who rivaled the Knuckles clan and were responsible for th the creation of Gizoids like Emerl. After the Knuckles clan angered the water god Chaos and were eradicated, The Nocturnus had conquered Mobius and were at the peak of power, then they were sucked into the Twilight Cage for Eternity.

Shade is Second in command of the Nocturnus, after lord Ix himself, and she wanted to stop Sonic and friends from stopping their plans. After being betrayed she joins you(and she's freakin powerful.

Shade is my second favorite Sonic female character after Blaze. She's basically Sonic Teams version of Archies Julie Su. She is the only character in the entire series who acknowledges Knuckles and shows him the respect he deserves, also having romantic feelings for him as well. Knuckles also feels the same for Shade, which could spell the end of KnucklesXRouge ( I like ShadowXRouge better anyway). She also likes Sonic too, which ticks off Amy ( Shade would kill Amy in a second if she were to attack her). Shade is an awsome character.

Wanted to draw her without her armor and show off her legs like I did with Blaze.;)

I watched sonic chronicles online and I didn't see shade showing any sighs of affection for knuckles at all.
