Long Distance BF'sby *NextGrandcross

Yeesh....Almost twelve o'clock.

Been working on this for a couple of days now ever since I penciled it a long time ago, mainly doing scene practicing and stuff. Plus I wanted to practice with some new SAI brushes and techniques.

Pretty much, two Mobians (from STH 224 whom I drawned before in one of my Mobian studies pics,) are having a long distance buddy chat from two far off locations, that of the Italian-inspired city of Spagonia and the Pacific Fish-shaped islands of Seaside Hill. I worked on both halves seperatly, combining them when finished, and using the photoshop blur tool for last minute touches.

Despite how it looks, this was pretty easy to draw down on paper, since I already done a giant image of Rooftop Run already, I didn't need any pics to look after, and Seaside Hill was very simple as I wasn't adding any of the Ocean Palace Ruins into the scene to main it more complicated.

I kinda messed on the distance factor on the Seaside Hill half, through it's not noticable at first.

The two Mobians were originally drawn by Ben Bates, all the rest are mine I randomly made up on the go.

ok firstly i really love the different places that you have here (spagonia and seaside hill) and the character that you originated off STH 224,
the backgrounds really gives me the feeling that im there in the pictue and the fact that you were abel to add original characters in the background off scratch and thats fantasic
this i really enjoy
seaside hill: all the people in the beach doing different things and the mobian in the sand! XD
spagonia: the hot air ballons are like the main thing in the background as well as the classic oranges and creams, also the umbrellas and the triangle flags in the street are great too
and lastly the shading is just fantastic!
