Good ol' Sonic the Hedgehog 2: Game number 2, 2 players, 2 times the fun and a fox with 2 tails. Good times.

Poor Miles Prower has been made fun of all his early childhood cause of his freakish two tails (I guess the local kids and townfolk thought of him as a demonic kitsune or something). Till the day a certain "Way past Cool" blue hedgehog came to Westside Island and Tails embarked on a journey with him to stop Robotnik from building the Death Egg.

I do miss the old Tails, the kid who was a curious, playful and adventurous little scamp who always loved to journey with his hero. Tails has gotten TOO SMART AND NERDY now. Tails barely shows his adventurous side anymore in the games. Tails can be smart, but not TOO smart

At least he's still his cool self in the Archie and Fleetway adaptions. It was funny in Sonic Universe 13 when Sal and Khan show curtisy and introduce themselves formally to the Bride of Endless Reach when greeting her and Sonic and Tails act all cool and don't really give a damn. XD

Just to make a point, and it's my own personal opinion: I think that Tails' new "smart and nerdy self" is a reflection of how much he's grown up and matured throughout his adventures with Sonic. That means he must have gained a sense of "look before you leap" feeling, cautious of what may happen for him and his friends. But the kid's still only eight years old. So, deep down, I know there's a little part of him that still has that "playful and adventurous bit" inside.

Either way, no matter how he changes, I see Tails as one of my favorite characters, second-best to Sonic.

The Sonic Comics are NOT canon to the REAL Japanese ORIGINAL Sonic. The comics are just cash cows by big evil corporations, and the Americans who did the boxarts back during the Classic Era fucked up classic sonic BIG TIME. Those stupid American TV show adaptions from the 90s are completely LUDICROUS. And Sonic CD, FUCKING REPLACING THE GREAT ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK WITH AN AMERICANIZED PIECE OF SHIT? NO THANKS ASSHOLES. Don't you hate it when Americans westernize good Japanese stuff? But, at least you're a great artist. That pretty much makes up for reminding Sonic fans who stay true to the source material about Americanized non-canon shit.
Further more, quit blaming Sega for supposedly fucking up their characters. Those days were over ever since Sonic Colors. Appreciate the fact that Sega finally woke up and saw the dumb shit they did with sonic for 7 years and are back to doing REAL sonic. Modern Sonic Characters are NOT horrible. BOTH classic and modern are great. If you just hate sega so much, stop drawing their stuff. Or at least don't kill the moment of appreciating your great art with sega-bashing rants like everyone else does. Sega started making the right moves again, yet you all STILL hate Sega? Whatever, not my business. And i know this counts as a rant, but I just hate being reminded of this "blame Sega" crap.

I like that Tails is really smart, cuz it makes him cute. But I also like when they show that he has the ability to take care of himself. Like, maybe, the time when he and Sonic got into a little fight in Sonic Universe and he pretty much kicked Sonic's butt (well, from what I recall). Heh heh, I liked that part... ^^

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT LIKE TO SEE SONIC AND TAILS FIGHT. I JUST LIKE TO SEE TAILS KICK THE BUTT OF A HIGHLY REVERED PERSON.

I like Tails with an IQ of 400. I agree he should be more adventurous though.

Very nice. I must say I really enjoy your words on Sonic 2 just as much as the image itself. "'Way past Cool' blue hedgehog" and "...curious, play and adventurous scamp" describes them both very well.
