Since the news of Sonic 4, I felt like doing something like drawing some of the little animal critters that ol' Robuttnik inprisoned in his Badniks to give them power. Luckily, Sonic News Network had the old artwork of the Animal friends.

And before you ask, YES, that is Sally Acorn as she originally appeared in Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2, and also Johnny Lightfoot and Porker Lewis from Sonic the Comic. So guess what all you annoying SEGA purist who think Sally was some made up American character, You've been Schooled! SEGA did created Sally (a.k.a. Ricky), so you SEGA purist should seriously shut your nagging mouths!

The animal friends appeared in several media, for instance, Sally became the major player of Satam and Archie comics, Porker and Johnny became freedom fighters in Sonic the Comic (poor Johnny getting killed by Chaos) and they all made small appearances in Sonic x.

I was surpirsed when they did appeared in Sonic X, it seems that SEGA hasn't completely forgotten about some of their creations. Now if they can bring back Mighty, Ray, Fang, Bean and Bark to the game continuety.

I always assumed Johnny Lightfoot was Bunnie Rabbot. They just turned him into a her and got creative. In my fan fic, Bunnie and Cream are sisters. I think I'm gonna have Johnny be their dad and Vanilla's long lost husband. I've seen a pig character in the background of SatAM.

I need to ask; if "Ricky" was Sally, was her true name in Japan or whatever really "Sally Acorn"?
